Alex Peters has over a decade of experience in various aspects of immigration law, both within the government and private practice. Currently responsible for nonimmigrant visas (H-1B, L-1, E-2, O-1, TN, E-3, J-1), immigrant visas, and adjustment of status for diverse corporate client base, specializing in biotechnology and startups. Proficient in family-based immigration and naturalization. Crafted successful motions to reopen and performed research for variety of unique unprecedented cases. Utilized knowledge of USCIS and ICE procedures to facilitate and expedite complex and stalled cases for diverse issues.

Katharine Nakaue (she/her) joined Peters Immigration Law PC in February 2021 having previously worked for the firms Iandoli Desai & Cronin PC and Fragomen Del Rey Bernsen and Loewy in Boston, MA. A strong background in writing and editing, Katharine has developed expertise in immigrant and nonimmigrant petitions for professionals with extraordinary ability, outstanding researchers, and intra- and inter-company transferees in STEM. In addition to working full time, she is pursuing her J.D. in the part-time evening program at New England Law | Boston, where she serves on the boards of the Student Bar Association Diversity Committee, the Immigration Law Association, and OUTlaws. She is also Co-Founder/Manager of the Identity Affirmation Project to assist transgender, gender non-conforming, and non-binary individuals with filing legal name changes.
